LV.Net Las Vegas data center (DC1) is located at 2595 Fremont St., Las Vegas, NV 89104, and one of the two data center facilities that is owned and operated by LV.Net in Las Vegas. The data center is located on an ideal place and can be reached from anywhere in the city with a 30’s minutes of drive.
The data center offers colocation space in rack space of 1U increment, half cabinets, and full cabinets. The data center is a hardened structure with high load capacity floors. The data center is regularly audited and is a certified SSAE 16 SOC I Type II facility. The data center provides excellent security measures such as 24x7x365 onsite security guards patrolling the area, video surveillance with archiving of footage for six months, monitoring by NOC staff, locked cabinets, and restricted access through the use of biometric readers and electronic swipe cards. The data center uses gaseous based fire suppression system for extinguishing any fire spark in the data center.
Las Vegas (DC1) provides a reliable power infrastructure offering SLA of 99.999%. The immediate power failure is protected by centralized UPS system that delivers uninterrupted and conditioned power to critical equipment on loss of utility power, and is backed by diesel generators that automatically starts on sensing the utility power cut out. The automatic transfer switch (ATS) seamlessly transfers the load to diesel generators and back. The cooling and humidity levels in the data center are effectively maintained through HVAC units for the optimized performance of all hardware components.
LV.Net’s 2595 Fremont St. (DC1) data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple carriers and service providers. The data center features fully redundant network infrastructure, dual fiber entrances, and provides BGP backbone connections to the Internet with unlimited bandwidth available. Both DC1 and DC2 are connected by private fiber optic lines and multiple licensed microwave links which assures a dependable, secure connection between these data centers. 24x7x365 NOC staff provides support services through phone and web interfaces.
