LOGIX’s Houston data center (DC1) is located at 811 Louisiana St, Houston, TX 77002. The data center is strategically positioned in central downtown Houston. The data center is located in two shell plaza. The data center offers data center services, connectivity, colocation, business continuity, and disaster recovery services.
The data center offers flexible options for colocation including relay racks, half and full cabinets, caged space, and private suites. The data center has 18 inches industrial grade reinforced raised floors. The data center is regularly audited in accordance with SSAE 16 type II requirements. The facility provides cutting edge environmental system and physical security, and 24x7x365 secured access. The data center uses proximity card readers and biometric scanners for access to the facility. The 1st floor access with loading dock and mantrap entry requiring multiple access into the colocation area. The facility uses dry pipe fire suppression system with heat and smoke detection for any fire spark.
The Houston data center features a fully redundant power infrastructure in N+1 configuration. The data center features 600A 480V electrical grid service. The immediate power failure is protected through dual 360 kVA UPS system in N+1 redundancy with automatic transfer of load to the 400kW backup diesel generator. The diesel generator has 2,000 gallons of fuel storage tank. The data center provides flexible AC and DC power configuration options, and 4×125 kVA PDUs. The cooling and humidity in the data center is automated through fully redundant HVAC units in N+1 configuration.
The data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity options to multiple carrier and service providers. LOGIX offers Metro Ethernet solutions to address a wide range of Layer 2 networking needs, including point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and any-to-any WAN connectivity. The 24x7x365 NOC staff provides helpdesk and support services, critical monitoring, and hands on support services.
