Latisys’ Denver Data Center #2 was built in 2012 and is located at 6900 S. Peoria Street, Centennial CO 80112. The facility is 87,000 square feet and is designed to be an efficient and secure solution for client’s mission critical operations.
The facility itself is manned 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and has multi layered physical security throughout the facility. A State of the art monitoring system provides real-time data on equipment operation, power, temperature and humidity levels. Redundant power systems, back up power systems (including an onsite fuel generator) and cooling systems are optimized for high density deployments. A significant on-site fuel supply also ensures that operations are continuous in the event of a utility power failure. Finally, energy-efficient “green” cooling systems are employed throughout the facility and are engineered to achieve an industry leading PUE of 1.3.
The colocation facility is also carrier neutral, allowing for multiple internet connections and fiber entrances.
