The data center is not in 200 years floodplain, and not in proximity to railway tracks, chemical plants, airport takeoff or landing zones. The data center has two loading docks with staging and storage area. The data center provides amenities like office space and turn-key disaster recovery office space. The facility also enjoys tax exemption for 2o years that is applicable on all data center infrastructure, equipment, and power.
The data center offers half and quarter cabinet colocation, lockable rack space, dedicated suites, and 150 square feet to 2,000 square feet cages. The data center is a 30,000 square feet facility with 14′ clear height. The independently demised space for each tenant and shared space is available. The data center also provides exclusive infrastructure and shared infrastructure for its customers. West data center is a reliable power infrastructure and benefits from Minnesota reliable electric utility and comparatively inexpensive. The data center provides 4 MW of utility power from Xcel Energy. The facility provides power density of up to 250 watts per square feet. The cooling and humidity in data center is controlled by CRAC units in 2N or N+1 configuration. The data center is a carrier neutral facility with multiple service providers. The data center provides abundance of dark fiber, and has diverse site and building entry. The facility has onsite management and engineer team available 24 x 7.
