Located in one of the most geographically stable regions in the country, IO’s Phoenix data center is located at 615 N 48th Street, Phoenix AZ 8008.
The IO data center in Phoenix is a Tier III certified facility, SSAE 16 Type II certified and is protected by multiple layers of physical security including video surveillance, biometric screening and manned guards which patrol the facility 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Inside the facility, IT assets are protected from fire threats through a HSSD system, as well as a clean agent fire suppression system. Clients are also able to access real-time monitoring of the data center from any device, from anywhere in the world.
The power infrastructure for the facility includes access to a dedicated on-site substation with 40 Megawatts of core power. The facility includes a low latency, fault tolerant carrier neutral network service, which allows for workload migration across multiple data centers. Clients also have access to multiple carriers, and IO does not charge a recurring monthly fee for cross-connects. IO’s redundant and secure infrastructure allows them to offer clients a 100% up-time service level agreement.
In addition to its Phoenix co-location facility, IO operates seven data centers around the world, and five in the United States. Locations include Arizona, Denver, Ohio and New Jersey, as well as the United Kingdom and Singapore. IO promotes their data centers under the banner “Data Center 2.0” because of their flexibility and functionality. Their data center resources can be deployed to clients anywhere within 120 days, and instead of all infrastructure being provisioned at a single level, IO Data centers can partition power, cooling and space based upon individual need. This flexible infrastructure also allows power usage to be adjusted based on peak vs non peak demand times, saving energy and cost during low peak energy periods. For support services, IO allows clients to bring in their own managed services provider and gives clients access to complimentary remote hands.
