InfoRelay’s San Jose data center is located at 55 S. Market St., San Jose, CA 95113. Located in downtown San Jose, this data center and office building was the original MAE West building, a central peering point serving to connect the United States to multiple International and Asian networks.
The InfoRelay data center provides San Jose colocation services to its customers from 1/4, 1/2, and full cabinets, multiple cabinets deployments as well as cage provisioning. The data center provides 309,000 square feet of space including office building, and is a SAS 70 Type II certified. The data center is raised floor design, and offers the additional benefit of leased office space. The data center security is provided through on-site security guards and video surveillance 24 x 7 x 365 with recording and archiving for 90 days. All the data center access is two factor authentication including biometric hand readers or finger print reader with key card verification. Pre action dry pipe and FM 200 fire suppression with VESDA control is installed for extinguishing any fire breaking out in the data center.
The data center power is a 2N and N+1 design providing reliable infrastructure. The diesel generators protect the power system in the event there is a loss of utility power. The data center power density is at 180 watts per square foot with dual power supplies direct to each cabinet. The N+1 configured cooling system automates the temperature of the data center. The facility has a temperature zone monitoring system installed with computerized environmental controls.
The San Jose data center is a carrier neutral facility and provides access to multiple carriers and service providers. It has several fiber points of entry and excellent rooftop line-of-site opportunities. The data center has multiple network paths into the building through diverse conduit and fiber optic connections with local 10 Gigabit failover. 24 x 7 x 365 skilled technical support is provided via customer web portal, priority ticket system, and phone.
