InfoRelay - Reston (IAD2) Data Center

The InfoRelay Reston data center is located at 11513 Sunset Hills Rd, Reston, VA, 20190, and is one of the two data centers they operate in Reston. The data center caters the area’s growing number of high-tech and government agencies.

The InfoRelay data center provides Reston colocation services to its customers from 1/4, 1/2, and full cabinets, multiple cabinets deployments as well as cage provisioning. The data center is a SSAE 16 SOC I Type II certified, provides 15,000 square feet of space, and is 24 inches raised floor design. The data center security is provided through security guards and video surveillance 24 x 7 x 365 with recording and archiving for 90 days. All data center access requires two factor authentication including biometric hand readers or finger print readers with key card verification. Pre action dry pipe and FM 200 fire suppression with VESDA control is installed for extinguishing any fire breaking out in the data center.

The data center has a reliable N+1 power infrastructure. A 750 kVA diesel generator provides support in the event of a utility outage. The data center provides a power density of 180 watts per square feet. The dual power supplies directly to each cabinet. Systems are checked monthly, and load tests are performed on the redundant infrastructure once per quarter to ensure all failover systems are functioning properly. The N+1 configured cooling system automate the temperature of the data center. The facility has temperature zone monitoring system, and also installed with computerized environmental controls with monitoring system.

The data center is a carrier neutral facility and provides connectivity to multiple carriers and service providers. 24 x 7 x 365 skilled technical support is provided via customer web portal, priority ticket system, and phone.
