InfoRelay’s One Wilshire (LAX2) data center is located at 624 South Grand Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90017, and is one of their three facilities in the Los Angeles area. The data center located in downtown, purpose-built facility, and is a seismically rated infrastructure. One Wilshire is one of the world’s premier points of interconnection, with direct international connectivity to multiple Asia-Pacific markets, and is Los Angeles’s first high-rise building.
The data center provides Los Angeles colocation services to its customers from 1/4, 1/2, and full cabinets, multiple cabinet deployments as well as cage provisioning. The data center is SAS 70 Type II certified, and has a 24″ raised floor design. The data center security is provided through security guards and video surveillance 24 x 7 x 365 with recording and archiving for 90 days. All the data center access is two factor authentication including biometric hand readers or finger print reader with key card verification. Pre action dry pipe and FM 200 fire suppression with VESDA control is installed for extinguishing any fire breaking out in the data center.
The InfoRelay data center has a reliable power infrastructure. The UPS system is in a 2N and N+1 configuration with automatic transfer switch between critical components, and diesel generators in N+1 configuration protect all the system on the loss of utility power. The data center provides a power density of 180 watts per square foot, and dual power supplies directly to each cabinet. The N+1 configured cooling system automates the temperature of the data center. The facility has a temperature zone monitoring system installed with computerized environmental controls.
One Wilshire is a carrier neutral facility and offers connectivity to over 200 of the world’s leading carriers and network service providers. The data center has multiple network paths into through diverse conduit and fiber optic connections with local 10 Gigabit failover. 24 x 7 x 365 skilled technical support is provided via customer web portal, priority ticket system, and phone.
