INAP’s San Francisco data center (SFO002) is located at 365 Main Street, San Francisco, CA 94105. The premier data center is located in downtown San Francisco, and at 19 miles from Oakland international airport, 14.5 miles from San Francisco international airport, and 46 miles from San Jose international airport. The facility has secured receiving area designated for customer equipment, and limited time secure storage available. INAP has aligned with Digital Realty Trust to provide secure and well equipped data center services at this location.
The data center offers a number of colocation options, including cabinets in half and full sizes, custom caged space, and private suites. The data center provides 111,000 square feet of total space, including 89,000 square feet of colocation space. Antistatic raised floor is designed for the structural capacity of 1,200 lbs. per square feet. The data center provides the state of the art security measures, including 24x7x365 security guards onsite, CCTV monitoring with archiving of data, and facility issued photo IDs. The entrance to the data center floor is authenticated through the use of card key and biometric scan, with extra security is provided through alarmed mantrap entry. The facility uses multi zone, double interlocked, pre action dry pipe fire suppression system with VESDA control for the life safety.
San Francisco (SFO002) data center is a reliable and fault tolerant N+2 power infrastructure with concurrently maintainable power system. The data center has planned capacity of 35 kilovolt from PG&E utility. The entire critical infrastructure is protected by 10 x 2.1 MW HiTech CPS (Continuous Power System) on power failure. The secondary power is provided by HiTech diesel generators onsite with 60,000 gallons of fuel storage onsite for 72 hours full load runtime, and extended fuel contracts. The data center provides 120V and 208V AC power circuits. The facility has overhead delivery of communication cables and under floor delivery of power cables. Multiple 20 tons CRAC units cool upto 1,000 kW load in each computing area within N+1 level redundancy. The 800 tons cooling towers provide N+1 redundant cooling capacity, and redundant makeup water and building water pumps provides 2N capacity to cooling tower water supply.
