The data center has ample parking facility, and roof rights are also available. The data center provides cloud services, colocation, dedicated servers, disaster recovery, managed services, and hybrid hosting services.
The data center offers colocation services through rack space in 1U increment, custom cabinet, caged space, and private suites. The cabinets are lockable, fire rated, perforated, and are vented for sufficient airflow. The facility provides 20,000 square feet of data center space with 7 inches raised floor. The data center is regularly audited and is SSAE 16 SOC II and III certified, and PCI compliant facility. The data center provides seven layers of physical security, including 24x7x365 video surveillance via 30 interior and 2 exterior cameras, onsite security personnel, 24x7x365 authorized customer access, and tailgating prevention. All the entrance in the facility is controlled through key card access and biometric scan. The extra security for accessing the data center resources is provided through mantrap entry. The data center uses FIKE Cheetah photoelectric and VESDA fire detection system , and Fike FM-200 pre action fire suppression system for any fire spark.
San Francisco data center is N+1 electrical design and distribution. The data center has 4 MW of utility power that is provided by three utility feeds. The system is protected by UPS systems in N+1 configuration on the loss of utility power, including 3 x 160 kVA PowerWare 9315 UPS units, 1 x 160 kVA PowerWare 9390 UPS unit, and 2 x 500 kVA PowerWare 9315 UPS units. The emergency power is provided by 2 x 1.5 MW Cummins diesel generators and 1 x 1 MW Cummins diesel generator with 36 hours of fuel supply. These generators are housed in dedicated enclosure within secure fence on roof with 3,080 gallons of available diesel fuel. The data center uses 3 x Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) for seamless failover in the event of a utility power failure. The data center provides power density of 200 watts per square feet. 120V and 208V power circuits are available while all the power is delivered under floor. DC power is also available and provided with in-cabinet rectifiers. The redundant power is delivered via diverse distribution panels and PDUs. The cooling and humidity in the data center is controlled through N+1 redundant HVAC units, including 26 x 26 tons Data Aire DAAU-2634 units and 1 x 13 tons DAAU-1334 CRAC Unit.
The data center is a carrier neutral facility with Tier I redundant connectivity from multiple providers. The facility has fully meshed routing and switching architecture, and CAT6 or fiber access to each row of cabinets and cages. The data center has dual fiber entry points. 24x7x365 NOC staff provides helpdesk and support services, and remote hands services.
