The data center is a single story building with concrete masonry perimeter walls, and is built from ground up to the highest levels of uptime standards. The data center building is category 4 storm resistant, and provides amenities like client conference room and customer lounge area.
The data center provides colocation space from single server, rack space in 1U increments, half 20U cabinet, and full 42U cabinet space. The data center provides 25,000 square feet of total enclosed space. The data center provides a secure environment with 24x7x365 onsite security personnel, video surveillance through 50 IP cameras throughout, hand reader provided by ADT security, and electronic control access system. The extra security to access data center floor is provided through interlocking mantrap entry points with badge only access and biometric scan.
North Orlando data center is a reliable power infrastructure having protection at each level. The immediate power failure is protected by 1 x 5,000 kVA Powerware 9315 UPS system and 1 x 4,800 kVA Powerware 9390 UPS system in parallel N+1 redundant configuration with 5 x battery strings providing 15 minutes of runtime at full load. The emergency power to data center is provided by 1 x 500 kW Caterpillar diesel generator and 1 x 1,250 kW Katolight diesel generator with 2,700 gallons of fuel storage tank onsite. These system are tested and maintained routinely. The cooling and humidity in the data center is maintained by 6 x 30 tons & 1 x 5 tons Liebert CRAC units, and 1 x 15 tons & 1 x 25 tons & 1 x 12 tons Package air units delivering 237 tons of total cooling.
