Green House Data’s Orangeburg data center is a Tier III facility. The data center offers flexible colocation options, including quarter cabinet, half and full cabinet, shared cabinet, multiple cabinet designs, dedicated cages, and 3,750 square feet of private suites. The option for 20 or 40 cabinet PODs is also available. The Orangeburg data center provides a total of 20,000 square feet of white space. The data center is regularly audited and is a certified SSAE 16 SOC II facility, and also offers PCI and HIPAA compliant solutions. The Orangeburg data center provides state of the art security measures through fencing, intrusion alarm system, 24x7x365 CCTV video surveillance, employee background check, keycard, pin code and biometric scan. The access to white space area is restricted by a double mantrap entry that provides access to only authorized personal. The data center is protected from fire by pre action fire suppression systems.

The Orangeburg data center offers a reliable power infrastructure with a concurrently maintainable design. The data center sits on a separate power grid than the city while the building supports 24 MW of power in N+2 scheme that is provided via two 13.2 kv utility circuits by separate substations. The facility supports 1.9 MW critical IT load, and up to 10 kW power per cabinet. The data center has concurrently maintainable A/B redundancy from cabinet to PDU to UPS to the utility. The immediate power failure is protected by multiple redundant UPS system in 2N configuration on the loss of utility power. The emergency power to the data center is provided by 16 diesel generators in 2N configuration with 72 hours of onsite fuel for generators and three refuelling contracts. The data center has low PUE of 1.3 at 10.5c/kWh by employing passive cooling mechanism, hot aisle containment, Energy Star equipment, monitoring etc. The facility has proactive power management system in place. The N+2 cooling is provided through 8 chillers that automates the humidity levels and cooling efficiently in the data center.

Green House Data’s 1 Ramland Rd, Orangeburg data center is a carrier neutral facility with direct access to primary carrier hotels in New York City. The data center provides carrier of choice which includes CenturyLink, Zayo, Level 3, Lightower, Verizon, Cogent, and Lightpath. These providers have dark and lit fiber back to major carrier hotels in the region. 24x7x365 NOC staff provides the helpdesk and support services, monitoring services, and remote hands services.
