FirstLight - Burlington Data Center

FirstLight’s Burlington data center is located at 45 Krupp Dr., Williston, VT 05495. The data center has been designed with best of breed technologies and transport provided on geographically diverse fiber optic systems, and ensures world class enterprise security and business continuity for mission critical business operations.

The data center provides the colocation services through half cabinets, full cabinets, individually locked cabinets, and caged space. The data center provides unescorted access 24 x 7 x 365 to authorized persons only, and video surveillance. Dual factor authentication including biometric san and key card access is utilized for granting access to data center resources. The facility uses monitoring system 24 x 7 x 365 for monitoring of entire infrastructure, and fire suppression system is installed for life and equipment safety.

Williston data center has redundant infrastructure, ensuring a reliable networking, power, and physical environment. The data center has A&B 208v AC power feeds. The facility has A&B protected UPS to the customer’s equipment. The backup power to data center is provided by multiple redundant diesel generators with automatic transfer of all the load through auto transfer switching system. The data center has 5 days fuel storage onsite, and generators are maintained and tested on monthly basis.

The data center is a carrier neutral facility, enabling interconnection to the carrier of your choice. The data center provides redundant, diversely routed Internet connections up to 10 Gbps with available private peering to FirstLight Tier-2 Northeastern network. The facility also offers dedicated Private Line EPL, EVPL, and E-LAN (Protected or unprotected) connections up to 100 Gbps.
