The data center is powered by independent substations that deliver simultaneously active (A+B) dual distribution paths all the way to the customer equipment, and 6 MW of UPS critical IT load capacity. 4 x 2 MW diesel generators in N+1 configuration provides the power to data center on the loss of utility power. The generators are enclosed and protected with 16,000 gallons onsite fuel storage. The Houston Data Center uses a bidirectional, closed-loop chilled water system to deliver high efficiency cooling from 50-ton CRAH units configured as 2N. The data center has hot/cold aisles, drainage and leak detection under all raised floors.
