Expedient Communications Columbus data center is located at 5000 Arlington Centre Boulevard, Columbus OH 43220.
Expedient’s Columbus data center offers clients a stable and secure environment for their IT infrastructure needs. The facility is over 20,000 total square feet with 7,500 square feet of 24 inch raised floor space and it’s operations support center is fully staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and clients have access to the facility at all hours. A security fence and reinforced walls surround the building, and video surveillance, biometric hand scanners and key card access provide a multi-layered security structure at all times. Inside, a state of the art FE-25 DuPont fire suppression system is backed up a dry-pipe fire suppression system; both of which provide a safeguard for clients IT assets. The operations control center also closely monitors temperature and humidity.
The power infrastructure at the facility is supported by dual power feeds as well as a Dual 750kVA Liebert UPS system. Two 1.75 megawatt diesel generators power the back up systems and 10,000 gallons of fuel storage is available on site. The cooling system is set up in an N+2 configuration and is able to provide up to 420 tons of total cooling. The network infrastructure allows for multiple fiber entrances into the building and for clients, includes direct access to multiple Tier 1 internet providers. Expedient’s high availability network includes firewalls and load balancers and multiple Expedient data centers are connected via a 10Gbps fiber optic ring. On site engineers are also available 24 hours a day to provide network support.
