The data center is single story building, tilt up concrete slab on grade structure, V fully sprinklered construction type, and seismic zone 4 design building. The data center building is fully complied with building code compliance standards. The data center is 8 miles from San Jose international airport, 28 miles from San Francisco international airport, and 35 miles from Oakland international airport. The data center has dual fire suppression systems including pre action, double interlocked, dry pipe sprinkler system above & below the raised floor, and wet pipe in office area & mechanical equipment rooms. The data center is also equipped with VESDA system in colocation area, and critical equipment rooms.

Sunnyvale SV4 data center is N+1 power infrastructure, and offer 99.999% SLA on power. The data center provides electrical capacity of 2.4 kVA per cabinet. The data center has single utility feed, and five power transformers. The data center provides AC power, and DC power to customer’s equipment. The facility has 12 kV of utility voltage. The immediate power failure is protected by blocked redundant UPS system in N+1 configuration. The standby power is provided by 5 x 2,000 kW diesel generators in N+1 configuration. The cooling and humidity in the data center is controlled by water cooled air handlers. The facility is served with cooling of 2.5 kW per cabinet (8,533 BTUH), and offers 99.99% SLA on temperature & humidity.

The data center is a carrier neutral facility offering connectivity to multiple carriers and service providers. The data center has overhead proprietary cable tray system with multi-tier ladder rack.
