DRS’s Pittsburgh data center is located at 2403 Sidney Street, Suite 214, River Park Commons, Pittsburgh, PA 15203. The data center provides alternate/remote data site, mirroring and backup, secure server housing, workroom seats, custom tailored disaster recovery services, managed services, colocation, and cloud services.
Pittsburgh data center is a Tier III infrastructure facility. The data center offers colocation through locked cabinets, caged space, and private suite. The data center is regularly audited in accordance with SSAE 16 SOC II requirements. The facility has employed many physical security measures including 24 x 7 x 365 video monitoring with recording, biometric and card access controls, IP based video cameras surveillance of interior and exterior of facility. The data center uses a combination of gas and zoned dry sprinkler fire suppression for any fire spark.
The data center offers 100% SLA on power. All customer equipment is fed by 2 redundant, independent Liebert designed power systems. Utility grid power is backed up by diesel generators which can operate for days without refueling. The cooling and humidity in the data center is effectively maintained by multiple Liebert CRAC units.
Pittsburgh data center is a carrier neutral facility with multiple, diverse dedicated fiber optic conduit entrances from On-Net carriers including Qwest, Sprint, Time Warner, Zayo, BroadBand, XO Communication, Expedient, Windstream and AT&T. The data center provides direct physical layer connectivity to many long haul, metro fiber, LEC and CLEC, IP transit, TDM/Voice and VoIP providers with 1 Gbps Internet bandwidth. 24 x 7 x 365 NOC Tier 1, 2, and 3 engineers provide helpdesk and support services, equipment installation, servicing, maintenance, and remote hand services.
