DRFortress’ Honolulu data center is located at 3375 Koapaka St., Suite D198, Honolulu, HI 96819. The data center is located in the airport industrial park, and hardener facility with protection against earthquakes and hurricanes. Roof rights are also available for data center use. Customers may also use the facilities secure loading entry for onsite equipment delivery, and free onsite parking.
The DRFortress data center offers colocation space through quarter cabinet, half cabinet, full cabinet, customized cage space, and private suites. The facility provides 21,000 square feet of total enclosed space. The data center is regularly audited and is a certified SSAE 16 SOC I type II facility, and also provides solutions meeting the rigorous compliance requirements of HIPAA, PCI DSS, FDIC, Sarbanes Oxley, and JSOX. The data center is built with a multi layered security system, including 24x7x365 on site security guards, video surveillance with recording and archiving of the footage for 90 days, and locked cabinets. Iris recognition, combined with user pin numbers and scramble pads must match before users are authenticated and granted access into the facility. The data center uses dual fire suppression system including double interlocked pre action dry pipe, and zoned FM 200 that are located throughout for extinguishing any fire spark.
Honolulu data center provides a reliable and fault tolerant N+1 power infrastructure with power to data center is fed from single utility feed. The entire critical infrastructure is protected by N+1 flywheel UPS system on the loss of utility power. The standby diesel generators provides emergency power delivering 1 MW of power with 12,000 gallons of fuel storage on site sufficient for 80 hours of continuous runtime and multiple refuelling contracts. The diverse power is delivered through N+1 PDUs in a true A+B circuit design. The data center supports power density of 150 watts per square feet, and provides single and three-phase AC power and DC power that is delivered in 120V, 208V, 220V with 20A and 30A circuits and -48V DC. The Honolulu data center has power monitoring and management system is in place. The HVAC units in N+1 redundant configuration controls the cooling and humidity levels in the data center in hot/cold aisle containment cabinet layout.

The data center has diverse fiber entry points, and provides overhead cable tray management system with multi-tier ladder rack. The facility also provides DSX-1 cross connect system for T1/E1, DS3/E3, SONET, 10/100/GigE/10GigE, DWDM and ISDN-PRI connectivity. 24x7x365 customer support is provided by technical staff through phone, e-mail, and web interfaces.
