Digiport’s Miami data center is located at 200 SE 1st Street, Miami, FL 33131. The data center is located in a hardened telecommunications property. The data center is a Tier III infrastructure facility.
Digiport offers 42U rack space, locked cabinets, caged space, and private suites upto 500 square feet of space. Digiport complies with all HIPAA and Sarbanes Oxley Computer Systems security requirements. Customers can choose from hosting single servers at the facility to full Public Company, Health Care or Internet infrastructures. The Data Center has 24 x 7 manned security as well as access control system, IP camera monitoring, biometric access, and cabinet layer security to maintain the physical protection of equipment. Access to data center is restricted to approved customers only. The data center is equipped with waterless fire suppression system in case of any fire in facility.
Miami data center is very reliable infrastructure, the facility provides power, cooling and network redundancies to maintain systems in peak operating condition. The power to the facility is provided by redundant and diverse FPL feeds from four downtown substations. The data center provides power density of 10 kW per cabinet. The immediate power failure is protected by enterprise class UPS system in N+1 configuration. Customers have the ability to choose A or A & B power configuration for their racks. All power is backed by 1.3 MW diesel generator on loss of utility power which is tested weekly with bi-monthly load tests. Seven days of on site diesel is maintained for the generator with a live run fuel tank for ongoing operations. Cooling to the facility is provided by HVAC units in N + 2 redundancy with high availability for ongoing temperature consistency of between 70 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit.
The data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multi-carrier Tier 1 BGP backbone. Miami data center provides direct connectivity to over ten on net fiber optic providers including AT&T, MCI, Level3, Cogent, XO Communications, and FiberLight. Digiport provides its customer the convenience of a fully managed 2 Gigabit BGP Network on entry to the facility in addition to access to connect direct to carriers. The technical team provides 24 x 7 expert onsite support and maintenance of systems.
