DataBank’s Downtown Dallas colocation facility is located at 400 S. Akard, Dallas TX 75202, the heart of the downtown Dallas business district. The Tier 3 facility is designed to be scalable and efficient and can serve even the most demanding high density clients.
The Downtown Dallas colocation facility is over 150,000 square feet, with over 130,00 square feet of raised floor. The facility lies on 3 acres of secured area, and is constructed with a hardened steel frame with concrete slabs and limestone facades. The facility is also protected against high winds and contains a 4,000 pound capacity freight elevator and a secured dock loading and staging area.
Databank’s Downtown Dallas facility also provides complete redundancy in power, cooling and network infrastructure. A 2N redundant configuration provides the facility with a capacity above 30MW and 10 backup generators provide over 19MW of power generation with additional expansion available. An 80,000 gallon reserve water cooling tank also provides redundancy for cooling systems.
Clients also stay connected at the Downtown Dallas location through a MMR (Meet-Me-Room) where they can easily cross-connect with a wide variety of internet providers.
