CoreXchange’s Dallas data center (DC2) is located at 1950 N. Stemmons Freeway, Suite 4006, Dallas, TX 75207, and is one of two CoreXchange data centers in Dallas, TX. The data center also known as Infomart, is the world’s first technology market center, located in the premier telecom and data center corridor of the central US just outside downtown Dallas. The data center provides staging areas, secure storage space, and amenities like multiple conference rooms, kitchen, break rooms, and free Wi-Fi facility.
The data center provides colocation space for single server in shared configurations, half cabinets, full cabinets, customized cage space, and private suites. The data center is regularly audited and is a certified SSAE 16 SOC I type II facility, and provides 5,500 square feet of data center space. The data center provides a secure environment through 24x7x365 onsite security guards, video surveillance of the interior and exterior, pre-approved control access list with ID check-in, card key access system, and secure entrance with check-in station and mantrap entry. The pre action dry pipe fire suppression system with smoke deduction is installed in the data center building, and is also equipped with a lightning protection system.
The Dallas data center (DC2) provides a reliable power infrastructure. Immediate power failure is protected by a UPS system in the event there is a loss of utility power. Emergency power to the data center is fed by an onsite 800 kw diesel generator for prolonged power outages. The data center has AC and DC power distribution and has a traverse power substations to the facility. The cooling and humidity level in the facility is controlled through redundant, multi zone N+1 configured HVAC units for optimum performance of equipment. The data center has an abundant chilled water capacity with 2N redundancy.
CoreXchange’s 1950 N. Stemmons Fwy. data center is a carrier neutral facility, and customers can connect to 6 carriers in suite and more than 30 carriers throughout the building, as well as direct connection to Zayo’s 4 national metro and long haul fiber networks. The location has diverse fiber entrances, with SLAs that are supported by geographically diverse NOCs. 24x7x365 NOC technical staff provides helpdesk and support services. The free remote hands are also offered to the customers that include cable installation and replacement, test collaboration, component replacement, visual surveillance, and other miscellaneous services.
