The data center is a SSAE 16 Type II, HIPAA, and PCI compliant facility. The roof rights of the facility are available for communication equipment installation. The data center security features video surveillance with offsite storage, 24×7 secure access, and access card system control for doors. The access to data center floor is authenticated through the use of dual factor biometric fingerprint scanners. The facility is protected against the fire through pre action dry pipe fire suppression system, and with advance fire and smoke detection system. The data center has advance infrastructure monitoring including leak and water detection system.
The Rockland data center provides a N+1 redundant configuration on all key power infrastructure components, and offers 100% SLA on power. The critical infrastructure is protected by multiple UPS system with battery bank in N+1 redundancy on the loss of utility power. The emergency power to the facility is served by redundant diesel generators in N+1 configuration with fuel storage onsite for 72+ hours of runtime. The diverse power is delivered by N+1 PDUs providing 20A, 30A, or 50A circuits at 110V and 220V. The data center provides high power density of 150 watts per square feet. The cooling and humidity in the data center is maintained by fully redundant N+1 HVAC units that is designed to support dense storage oriented environments.
