Colocation America’s New Jersey data center is located at 300 J.F. Kennedy Blvd E, Weehawken, NJ 07086; and is one of two data center facilities that are operated by Colocation America in New Jersey.
The data center offers flexible colocation space options including 1U rack space, 2U rack space, 4U rack space, 10U quarter cabinet, 21U half cabinet, 42U full cabinet, customized cage space, private suites and build-to-suit space. The data center provides approximately 9,800 square feet of space including 30″ raised floor with floor loading of 250 lbs. per square feet, and raised floor to ceiling clearance of 9′ and 3″. The data center is a certified SAS 70/SSAE 16 SOC II facility that is regularly audited for the rigorous audit requirements for implementing IT controls, and it also offers solutions fully meeting the complex compliance requirements of HIPAA and PCI DSS. The data center provides excellent security measures featuring strategically located access control, 24x7x365 security guards, monitoring of premises and internal area through security cameras with digital recording and archiving, CCTV monitoring at all entrances, and dual factor authentication with card key and biometric key card access controls. The data center is equipped with pre action dry pipe fire suppression system to meet any fire emergencies.
The New Jersey data center has a reliable and fault tolerant power infrastructure with 2 MW of power delivered by a dual circuit 13.2 kV service. The data center has 1 x 2,500 kVA dedicated transformer, plus one shared redundant power transformer. Immediate power failure is protected by 4 x 625 kVA UPS systems configured in 2N redundancy. Extended power outages are backed up by 1 x 2 MW dedicated diesel generator per data center suite and plus one shared redundant 2 MW diesel generator. The data center has 2 x 480V critical distribution boards in 2N redundancy. The N+1 PDUs distributes diverse power in A+B configuration to each cabinet in a failsafe design. The 400 ton air cooled chillers in 2N redundancy and CRAH units in N+3 redundancy, maintains the cooling and humidity levels in the data center.
