The Columbus data center is a reliable power infrastructure, and is conveniently located 1/4 mile from local power company headquarters and 1/2 mile from a major hospital on hospital grid. The immediate power failure is protected by Liebert UPS system with battery backup on the loss of utility power with transfer of load through multiple automatic transfer switches to onsite generators with continuous natural gas powered generation. The power infrastructure is provides multiple power circuits and UPS protection to each rack for redundancy and flexibility with each circuit is connected to an individual PDU. The cooling and humidity in the data center is automated through multiple N+2 redundant ventilation and air conditioning units in hot aisles/cold aisles design.
