One of C7’s newest data center locations is their colocation facility at Granite Point. The C7 Granite Point colocation center is located at 14944 Pony Express Dr. Bluffdale, UT 84065. It opened in the Fall of 2010 and construction was completed in 2013. The location is 65,000 square feet, and includes carrier neutral connectivity, 8 Mega watts of power and N+1 redundant infrastructure. The C7 Granite Point location also satisfies multiple compliance’s including HIPPA, PCI and SSAE.

In order to serve clients and provide a blend of service offerings, C7 maintains four Tier 3 data center facilities in Utah. C7’s locations contain more than 127,000 total square feet of floor space, and reside in one of the country’s least disaster prone areas. Utah also boasts some of the lowest power rates in the nation, meaning that C7 locations tend to have lower operational costs, meaning lower costs for clients and customers.
C7 locations offer a variety of colocation features with the purpose of protecting businesses’ mission critical functions. Each location has multiple substations that provide power and each location benefits from C7’s proprietary cold-aisle cooling technology. Data centers receive their power from a variety of sources including coal-burning plants, natural gas and wind energy and nuclear power. Because the technology that C7 utilizes in order to manage power consumption is efficient, all C7 locations are considered green data centers.
