ByteGrid operates a Tier IV facility in Silver Spring Maryland. Located in the Washington D.C. metro area, and in close proximity to three international airports, ByteGrid’s Silver Spring colocation facility is a state of the art facility, giving clients access to new electrical and mechanical infrastructures, dedicated computers rooms, and an environment that offers redundancy and security.
Two diverse utility feeds provide over 9 Megawatts of total power to the facility and based upon the needs of the client, can be configured in N+1 or N+2 redundant set ups. An N+2 back up system is also in place, which includes on site generators and 4 25,000 gallon fuel tanks on site that provide up to 72 hours of continuous power. The HVAC system is also set up in an N+2 configuration and includes an air distribution system as well as 150,000 gallons of chilled water storage. Finally, dual action dry pipe fire suppression systems protect client’s IT assets from any type of fire threat.
With a presence in the Atlanta, Washington D.C. and Cleveland markets, ByteGrid can offer clients multiple robust, reliable and secure data center options, based on their needs. Clients have access to private data center space that include dedicated UPS power supplies and clients can also customize the security and power levels to meeting their business needs.
