Benaroya’s Seattle data center SH2 is located at 1015 39th Avenue SE, Puyallup, WA 98374. The data center has easy access to Seattle, Portland, Vancouver BC, and SeaTac international airport. The data center strategic location minimizes the risk from environmental uncertainties and aerial contaminants. The facility is 525 feet above the sea level, and provides amenities such as office space, common areas, and conference rooms.
The data center provides 80,000 square feet of white space in total, and can be developed to exact client specifications with fast six month deployment. The facility can accommodate 8,000 to 10,000 square feet POD build-outs. The data center provides state of the art security measures, including perimeter and individual building security fencing, visitor and shipment screening, 24×7 security guards, and CCTV monitoring. All the access to data center is controlled through biometric and card control with extra security is provided with mantrap entry.
SH2 data center is a green power data center with all electricity from the hydroelectric and wind sources, and offers low power cost. The facility LEED Gold certification is in process. The 30 MW of utility power is provided to the data center from dual feed. The data center has independent power substation onsite with 42.5MW dedicated to campus, expandable in 25MW increments. The facility MEP design is completed. The data center is carrier neutral facility with access to Comcast, Century Link, Level 3, Zayo and Verizon available through diverse and redundant pathways.
