The data center is ideally situated for easy airport access, with daily non-stop flights to key West Coast and Mid-West destinations, and near proximity to major technology companies and education centers. The data center provides amenities such as office space, common areas, and conference rooms. The facility was formerly operated by HP as one of their key national data centers.
Boise data center is designed specifically to support cloud, content and other mission critical data needs for enterprise organizations. The data center is a 60,252 square foot plug and play facility for medium to low density needs. The data center provides 28,958 square feet of raised floor space with 11,259 square feet on West wing and 17,699 on East wing. The data center is fully secured fence facility on 5 acres.
Boise facility is a green power data center with all electricity from the hydroelectric and wind sources, and offers low power cost. 4.5 MW of utility power is served to the data center with expansion to 7MW. The emergency power to the facility is provided by onsite 7.75 MW diesel generator. The data center is carrier neutral facility with access to Qwest, 360 Networks, Time Warner, Integra available through diverse and redundant pathways.
