The data center offers flexible colocation options including one third cabinet, half cabinet, full cabinet, customized caged space, private suites, and tens of thousands of square feet available for larger build outs up to 7000 contiguous square feet. The data center is annually audited and is a certified SSAE 16 SOC I facility, and also offers solutions meeting different compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI, and ISO. The data center provides multiple layers of physical security including 24x7x365 security personnel, video surveillance with recording and archiving for 30 days, locking cabinets, key locks, monitoring by NOC staff, and authenticated card reader access and biometric controlled access to colocation area. The data center is equipped with dual fire suppression system including DuPont FM200 gas based fire suppression system and FE-25 clean agent waterless fire suppression system.
The Kansas data center provides a reliable and fault tolerant power infrastructure. A total of 5 MW of power is delivered to the data center through dual utility feeds by Kansas City Power & Light (KCP&L). The entire critical infrastructure is protected by redundant UPS system with battery backup that provides uninterrupted and conditioned power to critical infrastructure. The emergency power to data center is fed through Caterpillar diesel generators in case of prolonged power outage. The redundant floor level power distribution units (PDUs) delivers diverse power to each cabinet in dual A+B feeds. The multiple redundant HVAC units effectively moderate cooling and humidity levels in the data center.
1102 Grand’s 1102 Grand Ave. data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to 30+ carriers and service providers. The building has diverse fiber entrances, and has no monthly recurring MMR cross connect fees. 24x7x365 NOC provides technical support and remote hands services.
