Cologix Inc, currently based out of Denver CO, operates 16 global data centers in five strategic markets, which include Dallas, Jacksonville, Minneapolis, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Its data centers strive to provide flexible space, redundant power as well as security and environmental controls. Cologix, with its colocation and networking offerings, currently serves over 600 carrier, managed services, cloud, media, content, financial services and enterprise customers.  Customers also have access to “Meet-Me-Room” environments which enable clients to connect to a broad selection of carriers, ISPs and networks. This allows Cologix to offer support to network operators and network buyers who need to connect within Cologix’s data centers.

Network interconnection is also critical, and in Cologix’s data center locations they have introduced ‘Standard Connections’- a low risk, low cast ethernet switch environment that allows customers to interconnect with any carrier or customer present in the Dallas Infomart center. This allows for rapid access to strategic interconnection hubs, low risk network expansion and a scalable cost model as connections increase. Cologix technicians will install switches, connect power and provide remote hands, as well as handle customer requests via phone, email or customer portal.
