zColo Zayo Group LLC – Washington D.C. Data Center

The zColo Washington data center is located at 2100 M. St. in the District of Columbia. Located in downtown Washington DC, zColo has created an interconnect ecosystem in this facility. The facility offers 16,600 square feet of data center space and Washington DC colocation solutions are provided through private suites, caged space, and cabinets. The zColo data center has 24 x 7 monitoring and security with video surveillance, and authorized access to the facility is granted through card readers. The data center has AC and DC power distribution. In the event of power failure, the facility is protected by a UPS system resulting in an immediate shift of the power load to a 2 MW diesel generator. The zColo data center climate is controlled through a N+1 configured air conditioning system for optimum performance of equipment. The automatic fire suppression system with smoke detection and pre action sprinklers are installed in the data center building.

The zColo Washington DC data center location has diverse fiber entrances and offers on-site remote hands service. The facility offers in-suite connections to 15 carriers, and direct connection to Zayo’s 15 National Metro and long haul fiber network. With carrier-neutral access to Zayo’s 4,629,000+ fiber network, and 900o+ on-net buildings, the options to interconnect to key business partners and providers are abundant with zColo’s Washington DC colocation facility. The SLAs are supported by geographically diverse NOCs. The facilities remote hands are also offered to the customers that include cable installation and replacement, test collaboration, component replacement, visual surveillance, and other miscellaneous services.
