Xecunet’s Frederick data center is owned and operated by Xecunet and has multiple certifications that reflect the security of their data center, including SSAE 16 Type 2 certified, as well as PCI, HIPAA and DIACAP compliant. Inside their facility, physical assets are protected by a multi layered system. This includes card key entry, hand geometry readers, man trap and video surveillance throughout the facility. Fire detection and suppression systems also provide complete coverage against potential fire threats.
The power infrastructure is in an N+1 UPS configuration, and independent power feeds to each customer’s cabinet from redundant systems. Available AC power is capable of delivering both 120V and 208V service. Multiple back up generators are also installed, and up to 48 hrs of fuel is stored on site, with emergency refueling contracts in place. HVAC systems, backed by Liebert cooling and humidity control systems are also set up in an N+1 configuration. For its network set up, Xecunet deploys redundant routing and switching equipment.
In addition to secure and reliable infrastructure, Xecunet’s colocationcolocation facility also has multiple other amenities. Customers are given flexible set up options including 1U cabinets, through multi-cabinet and full cage configurations. Its location is extremely convenient, with easy on/off access to I-270, Route 15 and I-70. The facility includes free parking for clients, and a dedicated shipping and receiving department for easy management of customer’s IT assets. Customers also have access to remote hands, IT on demand services, and even an on-site work area and kitchen.
