Sungard – Nashville Data Center

Sungard Nashville data center is located at 200 Commerce Street, Nashville, TN 37201. The data center offers colocation and managed hosting, enterprise cloud services, remote managed IT services, messaging and collaboration, and network and managed security services.

Sungard colocation services includes tailored colocation data center space including cabinets with 42U capacity, or secure cages offering more space and added security for compliance. The data center provides 12,500 square feet of total space and also provides 18″ of raised floor space. The data center adheres to SAS 70 Type II along with compliant with PCI DSS and ISO standards. Multiple physical layers of security with controlled security procedures are implemented in the data center. Real time 24 x7 local monitoring  is tied to a local communications panel for 3rd party incident response. The data center has DVR surveillance system in placed also. The data center uses pre action dry pipe fire suppression system with VESDA control for any fire spark.

Nashville data center provides a reliable power infrastructure, and offers 100% SLA on power. The immediate power failure is protected by 5 x 160 redundant kVA UPS system and 1 x 750 redundant kVA UPS system. The standby power is provided by 2,000 kW Caterpillar diesel generator with 3,000 gallon fuel tank and 1,500 kW Caterpillar diesel generator with 3,000 gallon fuel tank. The cooling and humidity in the data center is controlled by 11 x 26 tons HVAC units with leak detection, 2 x 15 tons HVAC units with leak detection, 1 x 8 tons HVAC unit with leak detection and 96 x 3 tons XD HVAC units with leak detection.

The data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple Tier One backbones via carrier-diverse local loops. The data center also offers Cisco and Juniper powered Internet mesh platform, 6 x local loop providers with redundant and diverse paths into the facility, 2 x hubbed DS-3s for PTP and frame relay connections, and dual Ethernet drops to every customer cabinet.
