OrbitCom’s Coeur D’Alene data center provides customers and businesses with a safe, secure and redundant environment for its IT assets. First, colocation space is made available in a variety of configurations. Colocation rack space is also available in single rack units, 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3 or a full 7′ relay rack. The facility also has a multi-tiered security structure, which includes unauthorized access alarms as well as 24-hour key-card access. Assets within the facility are also protected by an FM-200 fire suppression system, and the environment is monitored at all times by 24 hour a day, seven day a week on-site personnel.
For power, multiple options are available, including a single 15amp 120 Volt AC power source or dual (A + B) 15amp DC power feeds. Battery back up systems are also in place for both the AC and DC power systems. Additional AC and DC power is also made available in 15 amp increments, and power grid surge protection is also in place. Finally, a natural gas generator back up is also deployed, in the case of a primary utility power failure. Redundant cooling and fiber connections are also deployed, ensuring maximum up time of all servers and assets.
In addition to its Coeur D’Alene Data center, OrbitCom operates 3 data centers in Washington State and Idaho. Along with its colocation services, OrbitCom also provides clients with a bevy of additional services including remote hands contract for remote hands support, voice and internet services, hosting services, 24-hour repairs and payment processing.
