NYI’s (New York Internet) Seattle data center (LA1) is located at 3101 Western Ave., Level C, Seattle, WA 98121. The data center provides colocation space through partial cabinet, half and full cabinets, and customized cage space.

The data center meets the rigorous compliance requirements for PCI DSS and HIPAA, and is a SSAE SOC I type II certified facility. The data center provides multiple layers of hardened physical security including 24x7x365 onsite security, CCTV surveillance with digital storage, electronically control access card, and biometric readers. The data center uses zoned pre action dry pipe fire suppression system with VESDA control for extinguishing any fire spark.

Seattle data center (SEA1) provides a reliable power infrastructure. The immediate power failure is protected by UPS system in N+1 redundancy with 15 minutes of backup time at full load. The emergency power is provided by standby diesel generator with for prolonged power outages. The Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) switches generator power within 30 seconds of commercial power loss. The data center delivers 120V, 208V, 208V 3 phase, and 48V DC power to each rack.  The HVAC units in N+1 redundancy effectively control the cooling and humidity in the data center.

NYI’s 3101 Western Ave. data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple carriers and service providers. The data center has enterprise class infrastructure with fully meshed, BGP4 based fully tolerant network with no single point of failure, and offers 99.9999% uptime. 24x7x365 onsite staff provides the helpdesk and support services.
