Continuity Centers’s Woodbury data center is located at Chappaqua Crossing 480 N. Bedford Rd., Chappaqua, NY 10514. The data center has ample onsite parking, oversized freight elevators, and roof rights availability. The data center is a Tier III infrastructure facility.
The data center provides flexible data center space for single server, half cabinet, full cabinet, dedicated or shared locking cabinets, caged space, and private suites. The data center is SSAE 16 SOC II certified facility for data center and disaster recovery, and HIPAA, PCI, Base II compliant for disaster recovery. The data center 24 inches raised floor are designed for the distributed floor load of 250 lbs. per square feet. The data center implements stringent access protocols and procedures with manned security and CCTV surveillance 24 x 7 x 365 with archiving. The multistage stage security filtration using biometric palm scanners and pass card access system allows entry to data center floor. The facility also provides mantrap entry into data center. The facility uses NFPA double interlock pre action dry pipe fire suppression system with low level smoke & heat detection including pre-warning systems. The data center also provides the stringent 24 x 7 x 365 monitoring & escalation using control rooms and is linked via VPN, and can be remotely monitored.
Chappaqua data center provides fully conditioned electrical power in N+1 configuration with 99.999% SLA on power. The power to data center is fed from two utility grids and 1.5 MW gas turbine cogeneration power plant making facility a very reliable power infrastructure. The emergency power to infrastructure is provided by UPS system in N+1 redundancy. The backup power is provided by 1 MW diesel generator with preferential fuelling contracts on the loss of utility power. The redundant UPS AC power is backed up with bypass switch and surge protection. The DC power plant provides 48V of power with A and B feeds. The full cabinet uses up to 80% of circuit’s power, and half cabinet uses up to 40% of circuit’s power. The redundant Liebert glycol-based dry cooler systems with Liebert CRAC units in N+1 configuration controls humidity and cooling in the data center.
The data center is a carrier neutral facility with high speed interconnection and peering including direct, physical layer connectivity to PTT, long haul, dark fiber, CLEC, IP transit, TDM/voice and VoIP; multiple dedicated fiber optic conduit entrances delivered within diverse building shafts. All connections are made within secure, centrally located Meet-Me Room. The data center also provides all forms of copper, fiber and coax connections. The data center provides customer support services and remote hand services.
