Colocation America’s Philadelphia data center is located at 9999 Hamilton Blvd, Breinigsville, PA 18031; and is one of three data center facilities that are operated by Colocation America in Philadelphia. The data center is engineered to protect servers and communications equipment in a clean, secure environment with redundant power and cooling infrastructure.
The data center offers flexible colocation space options including 1U rack space, 2U rack space, 4U rack space, 10U quarter cabinet, 21U half cabinet, 42U full cabinet, customized cage space, private suites and build-to-suit space. The facility provides over 250,000 square feet of space having 90,000 square feet of available space. The data center also provides 36″ raised floor space with 9′ minimum ceiling clearance. The data center is a certified SSAE 16 SOC II facility that is regularly audited for the rigorous audit requirements for implementing IT controls, and it also offers solutions fully meeting the complex compliance requirements of HIPAA and PCI DSS.
The data center provides excellent security measures featuring 24x7x365 security guards, closed circuit video surveillance, monitored open door and security breach alarms, and dual factor authentication including card access control and biometric scanners. Access to the data center floor is further protected by mantrap entry with photo ID card access system. The data center is equipped with dual interlock pre action dry pipe fire suppression system and floor to deck firewalls to meet any fire emergencies.
The Philadelphia data center has a reliable and fault tolerant power infrastructure with power to the facility delivered by dual utility feeds for redundancy. Immediate power failure is protected by redundant UPS systems in N+1 configuration. Extended power outage is backed up by a diesel generator capable of providing 12 MW of power. The N+1 PDUs distributes diverse power in A+B configuration to each cabinet in a failsafe design. The data center provides power density of up to 350+ watts per square feet. Cooling and humidity levels in the data center are maintained by Liebert CRAC units with under floor variable fan speeds in redundant 2N configuration. The data center also has 24x7x365 monitored building controls in place.
9999 Hamilton Blvd data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple Tier I carriers and service providers. The data center provides N+1 redundancy on all its networks offering 100% network uptime with multi layer network design and multi Gigabit capacity. The data center has multiple and diverse fiber feeds and it also provides dark fiber and Lit service. 24x7x365 real live support is provided by Level 2 and Level 3 engineers for any queries.
