Cincinnati Bell Tech Solutions CBTS – Lebanon Data Center

CBTS’s Lebanon data center is located at 401 Kingsview Dr. The data center is located approximately 30 miles north of downtown Cincinnati, and 40 miles from the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and Dayton International Airport. The facility offers easy access to interstate I-71 and is less than four miles from several restaurants, lodging, fuel, and shopping centers to accommodate overnight and extended stays. The facility offers production colocation, back-up and recovery and business continuity. The data center is located on 110 Acres of land, and offers a total of 140,000 square feet of space with 63,000 square feet of expansion available for rapid deployment. The data center is SSAE 16 SOC 1 Type II certified, HIPPA compliant and provides excellent security features that include 24×7 on site security guards, and video surveillance and recording of the exterior and interior of facility. Building is reinforced structure, and the cabinets and cage security options include individual locks and biometric scanners. The colocation services are provided through cabinets, caged space, and private suites.

The data center offers 100% SLA on power and environment. The facility is built to top-tier standards, and boasts two diverse and redundant utility power feeds. A total of 8.1 MW power available from multiple 2500 KVA pad mounted transformers. The power cables installed are High Performance Computing  (HPC) capable. The data center provides 150+ watts per square feet of power density, and 300 kVA single input PDU fed from dual input static transfer switches. The emergency power to data center is provided through scalable 8 x 2 MW Kohler dedicated generators with 40,000 gallons fuel tank capacity.  The 48 inches of raised floor is designed for managed cabling and controlling cooling to the data center that is maintained through chilled water system configuration that utilizes 115 tons Hunt Air ACU fan-wall technology. The Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA) system; sampling air in parts per million coupled with a zonal dual action interlocking dry-pipe system, is installed in the data center for life safety.

The data center is a carrier neutral facility with diverse fiber feeds and offers high availability and high reliability DWDM networking for customers who are in other Midwest data centers.  The facility support multiple Metropolitan Area Network (MANs) carriers for point-to-point and dark-fiber connectivity, and provide N+1 switching and router configurations to ensure full redundancy with each component. The Network Operation Center provides technical assistance to the customers 24×7, and also offers remote hand services.
